Global Maritime India Summit 2023

The Global Maritime India Summit (GMIS) 2023, held from October 17 to 19 in Mumbai, was a key event organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways to promote growth and innovation in India’s maritime sector. Inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the summit launched the 'Amrit Kaal Vision 2047' and attracted investments worth ₹10 lakh crore through 360 MoUs and project announcements. With participation from over 70 countries and more than 250 speakers, the summit focused on port modernization, decarbonization, shipbuilding, and maritime logistics.
